Message: This Sunday is a particularly special one at Unity as we gather to celebrate New Member Sunday – a beautiful opportunity to welcome and honor those who have chosen to make Unity a part of their spiritual journey. We’ll celebrate the joy of growing together, the connections that bring us closer, and the love that creates a true sense of belonging within our community.
Message: An uplifting message about the deep-soul interconnection we share and experience cohabitating on Earth with our animal friends. The many ways animal intelligence expresses, and how animals bring joy and love into our lives but can also be symbolic and bring messages into our lives.
Message: Last year Unity Worldwide (what we lovingly call “Big Unity”) underwent major changes as to how our movement is organized, led, and connected. What do these changes mean for Unity of Kanawha Valley? Join us Sunday at 10 am for an informative and hopeful look at the new direction of Unity Worldwide. Discover how we can embrace change while staying grounded in the Unity principles that anchor UKV as a beacon of light and love.
Message: Life can be so uncertain sometimes. We have decisions to make, challenges to face, or emotions to process—and we find ourselves lacking, confused, or overwhelmed. Sometimes our prayer becomes: “HELP! Give me a Sign!”Those words, spoken aloud with sincere emotion and intention, will always produce results. This Sunday we will explore the process of asking for, receiving, interpreting, and following the signs of Divine Guidance.
Musicians: Ron Sowell & Jeff Haught with Guest Musician Terri Binion
Message: So many of us want things to change. We look out there and see all the things that we would like to be different. As I dream of the changes I would like to see, I often make the tongue-in-cheek statement, “The world according to JP.” Yes, if everyone would just listen to me, everything would be better. I recently heard the story of Xavi Ginesta, the successful Spanish businessman, who sold his business and created the Humanitas Foundation. Its mission is to support human transformation through greater consciousness, collaboration, and transformative philanthropy. This Sunday we’ll explore Mr. Ginesta’s story and discover how changing our consciousness, opening our hearts, and putting our spiritual principles into action can help us become the peace, love, and the change we seek.
Message: Sometimes we think we know exactly where our deepest wounds came from. Then life unexpectedly places us on the other side of one and reveals something that had been hidden all along.
Message: We often say “All is Well.” Unfortunately, this phrase is sometimes used to avoid acknowledging pain, fear or what is truly happening in our lives. The prayer for Protection reminds us we can affirm the presence of Divine Love, without pretending difficult circumstances don’t exist. This Sunday we’ll explore the difference between spiritual trust and spiritual avoidance. Discover how to say “all is well” not as denial of life, but as a deeper affirmation of the One Presence that holds us through all of life’s ups and downs.
Message: Enough is an interesting word. As an adjective it means a need has been met. Example: We have enough food. As an adverb it means to a proper degree. Example: He is tall enough to ride the roller coaster. As an interjection it is a cry to make something stop. Example: Enough! Join us this Sunday as we explore “enough” as a reminder we have what we need. Most importantly, discover the greatest spiritual truth: You are enough!”
Message:We explore how the voice can connect us to our sacred nature. When it comes to communicating, there is more than the spoken word. Silence and deep listening are unique elements in authentic expression. This interactive talk will guide you to experience the unique frequency of your being, which can benefit the collective consciousness in many ways.
Message: Last weekend, I experienced the joy of unplugging from technology and tapping into the quiet lessons of nature. Join us this Sunday for “What’s Your Buzz”. We’ll explore the remarkable wisdom of bees and how their cooperation, purpose, and connection beautifully reflect Unity principles.
